June 7, 2018

Sheriff Blake Dorning announced today June 7, 2018 that the Madison County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division and Vice/Narcotics Unit arrested Darrain Quayshawn Rudolph, B/M 26yoa and Brianna Alexus Stapleton B/F 23yoa, both residents of Atlanta Georgia, for Trafficking Marijuana. At about 11:00pm on June 6, 2018 a patrol deputy stopped a White Nissan Altima for a traffic violation. The stop was made at Winchester Road and Colemont Drive and while the deputy was speaking with the driver (Rudolph) he could smell a distinct order of marijuana. Further investigation led to the discovery of approximately seventeen pounds of marijuana and 8500.00 in cash. Narcotics Investigators were notified and responded to the location to take possession of the marijuana and cash for evidence, Rudolph and Stapleton were booked into the Madison County Jail and since bonded out, Rudolph 50,000.00 and Stapleton 10,000.00.
