Mission Statement
The Madison County Sheriff's Office Street Crimes Unit is a proactive, specialized division committed to the suppression of violent crime, the dismantling of criminal street gangs, and the aggressive investigation of illegal narcotics distribution throughout Madison County.
Our mission is to enhance public safety by deploying highly trained deputies in intelligence-led operations that focus on high-crime areas, repeat offenders, and drug-related activity. The Street Crimes Unit works collaboratively with other divisions, federal partners, and local agencies to identify and disrupt the supply chains of illegal narcotics, seize dangerous drugs, and apprehend individuals who pose a significant threat to our communities.
By targeting drug trafficking organizations, gang members, and habitual offenders, the unit plays a vital role in reducing crime and restoring safety and quality of life for our residents.
