Sheriff Blake Dorning announced today December 22, 2017 that two persons have been arrested in the death of Gary Wayne Kay W/M 59yoa. Aron Shine Gordon B/M 22yoa has been charged with Capital Murder and Burglary 1st with no bond being set. Also charged with Murder is Rebekah Jo Barefield W/F 33yoa with bond set at $75,000.00. Deputies were called to the area of West Limestone Road in reference to shots fired in the area. Once they arrived they were directed to 120 Brier Fork Road where the located Kay deceased.  Investigators responded and through their investigation they were led to an apartment at Rime Village Apartments. The Madison County SWAT Team responded to that location and both subjects were taken into custody without incident. Investigators continue with this investigation, should information that can be released become available it will be at that time.
