Madison County Sheriff Reminds Community to be Aware of School Zones and Start Times

08/06/2019

The Madison County Sheriff’s Office will be out in full force Wednesday making sure that all the students and staff of the Madison County School System have a great start to the new school year.

“We will have Deputies patrolling the school zones and enforcing speed limits and other traffic laws to ensure that everyone is safe.  We will also have our School Resource Officers patrolling the campuses to ensure that once students and staff arrive at school there are no issues or disruptions.  We look forward to working with Dr. Minskey and the Madison County School System to ensure that everyone has a great school year”, said Sheriff Kevin Turner.

As a reminder, elementary and K-8 schools start at 7:45 and dismiss at 2:45, while middle and high schools start at 8:30 and dismiss at 3:30.
